How does MyAlice Comply with EU data privacy?

There are seven principles that outline how personal data must be processed under the EU policy. Find below how MyAlice complies with each:

Lawfulness, fairness and transparency

Principle:

Personal data shall be processed lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject.

MyAlice's Terms of Service Agreement, Privacy Policy, and supporting policies provide a transparent notice to inform its customers. Relevant communication is embedded or executed at different steps of interaction of the customers with MyAlice so that they are aligned on how their data is processed.

Purpose limitation

Principle:

Personal data shall be collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes; further processing for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes shall, in accordance with Article 89(1), not be considered to be incompatible with the initial purposes.

MyAlice Privacy Policy explicitly outlines how and why the personal data is collected and used. Any new scope of usage, previously not available, goes through extensive vetting making sure they fall under regulations. Only then are they brought in place and included in public documentations.

Data minimization

Principle:

Personal data shall be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed

Accuracy

Principle:

Personal data shall be accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay

As agents have access to their information, they can rectify and make changes as and when necessary. Agents may access, update, correct or have removed from our systems and records the Personal Information they provided to us by emailing a request to privacy@myalice.ai or contacting us by telephone or postal mail. To protect their privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before updating or removing your information.

Storage limitation

Principle:

Personal data shall be kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed; personal data may be stored for longer periods insofar as the personal data will be processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes in accordance with Article 89(1) subject to implementation of the appropriate technical and organisational measures required by this Regulation in order to safeguard the rights and freedoms of the data subject

Integrity and confidentiality

Principle:
